Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

Naturalyx (“we”, “us”) provides an online text rewriting / humanizing tool. This policy explains what we collect, what we do not store, and how processing works.

2. What we do not store

We do not persist the full input text or output text of rewrite jobs on our servers. After a job finishes (or fails), what remains in our records is operational metadata needed for quota, support, and reliability—not your manuscript.

3. What we do collect

• Account data: email, name, and avatar when you sign in with Google (or other configured login methods).
• Usage metadata: word counts, rewrite options (intensity, audience, purpose, format, language), job status, latency, and error codes.
• Billing data: plan, subscription status, and payment-provider references. Card details are handled by the payment provider, not stored as full card numbers by Naturalyx.
• Technical logs: security, abuse prevention, and service health signals (e.g. approximate request timing). These are not used to rebuild your documents.

4. How rewriting works (third-party processing)

To generate a rewrite, your text is sent over encrypted connections to our rewrite processing provider for that request. We use the result to show you the output in the product UI. We do not keep that body text in our own database afterward. The provider may process the text solely to fulfill the rewrite; their retention practices are governed by their own terms and our vendor agreement.

5. Data kept in your browser

The tool may save a local draft or preferences in your browser (local/session storage) so you can continue editing. That data stays on your device unless you clear site data. We recommend not pasting secrets or credentials into the tool.

6. Cookies and sign-in

We use session cookies / tokens required to keep you signed in and protect the service. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use rewrite content for advertising.

7. Retention

• Account and billing records: kept while your account is active and as required for accounting or legal compliance.
• Job metadata: retained for quota history, abuse prevention, and product reliability.
• Rewrite body text: not retained in our database after the session response path completes.

8. Your choices

You may sign out, stop using the service, or contact us to request account-related deletion where applicable. Clearing browser storage removes local drafts on that device.

9. Children

Naturalyx is not directed at children under 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). Do not use the service if you are below that age.

10. Changes

We may update this policy as the product evolves. Material changes will be reflected on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
